Grant Baciocco - The Guru of Podcasting |
Grant Baciocco, one of the original Podcasters, is a graduate of the Cal State Long Beach Theatre department. He got his start in the entertainment business as a Comedy Musician. As the star of the comedy music band Throwing Toasters, he has written his own original lyrics and produced 3 albums, as well as performed for college and clubs all over the country. Because he also happens to be a tech geek, in 2004, Grant had an idea to create The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd, a radio show in the style of those "glory days of radio" serials. He wanted to create a show that would be fun for kids and adults and maybe educational too. And with the advent of podcasting, it seemed like a very suitable medium for the Dr Floyd show. And so the Grant, the Podcaster was born! Grant has been writing, producing and performing in the Dr. Floyd podcast, currently in it’s fourth season, for the past 2 years, and is considered one of the “First” to explore this new medium. You can find Grant’s program on ITUNES, and on Mondays on the Radio Show FILL IN THE BLANK which broadcasts over the internet.
